With a BSc in Geological Engineering from Tulsa University, Michael has 45 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Michael worked for KWB in Tulsa on properties in Oklahoma and Illinois from 1980 to 1983.
Michael was an integral part of the Home-Stake Royalty Corporation from 1983 to 1999. During his tenure, he was promoted to chief Geologist, where in addition to management of the companies’ minerals spanning 12 states, Michael was responsible for generating numerous drilling prospects. During his time at Home Stake Michael generated and promoted approximately 100 prospects.
In 2000, Michael worked for Helmerich & Payne as an explorationist in the Ouachita Basin.
In 2002, Michael joined Latigo Petroleum where he created the primary plays in the Texas Panhandle that led to the company selling in 3 years for over $700 Million.
Following the sale of Latigo, Michael rejoined his crew at a new start-up called Laredo Petroleum. Michael created a Granite Wash concept which garnered capital to drill over 50 vertical wells and over 100 horizontal wells. Total reserves could exceed ½ TCF of gas and several millions of barrels of liquids.
In 2012, Michael left Laredo and formed Rimrock Natural Resources with Ceja Corporation of Tulsa. This company began leasing in the oil window of the SCOOP play and successfully drilled and participated in over 30 horizontal wells in the Woodford and Mississippian Horizons.
Jim is a Petroleum Engineer with over 35 years' experience in the oil and gas industry. Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech University and is life member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Hamel is a Certified Professional Landman with over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Hamel holds a BA from the Virginia Military Institute and in addition to his local and state level community service has been a long-term member of TAPL, OCAPL, OPA and AAPL throughout his career.
In addition to numerous officer positions, Hamel is a past President of the Tulsa Association of Petroleum Landmen (TAPL) and has served on the Executive Committee and as the Secretary for the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL). He has served on or chaired numerous industry committees including as Chair of the AAPL’s Ethics Committee and as a Trustee for the AAPL’s Landman Scholarship Trust. Hamel currently serves on the University of Oklahoma’s Price College Energy Management Board as well as the Hern Energy Roundtable Committee for US Congressman Kevin Hern Oklahoma’s 1st District. Hamel was selected as TAPL’s Local Landman of the Year in 2013 and AAPL’s National Landman of the Year in 2019. Hamel was also selected by the National Association (AAPL) as the “Face of the Industry” in 2024.
Hamel’s industry experience includes land oversight of over 1.5 Billion in transactions along with relevant Oklahoma Land Management experience with four public companies including EQT, Penn Virginia, Eagle Rock & Vanguard (mostly Oklahoma Anadarko Basin) as well as two private equity ventures including Crow Creek Energy II and Titanium (both focused on the Oklahoma Anadarko Basin).
His responsibilities with his most recent companies in Oklahoma and his vast network made him an excellent choice for EVP of Land, Legal and Business Development. His networking, trading and negotiating skills are all trademarks of his abilities.
